Take out:-           Pull tight and fasten off securely.

And insert:-        Cut off yarn, leaving a long tail. Using sewing needle, insert yarn through first st on front needle then through first st on other needle continue taking sts alternately from each needle. Gather slightly and fasten securely.

Insert (replace wording) –   Loosely cast off 8 (11, 12, 15, 18) sts at beg of next row and 8 (10, 13, 15, 17) sts at beg of next 2 alt rows.  Rejoin yarn to other 24 (31, 38, 45, 52) sts left on a holder and bring back into action with ws facing. K to end. Loosely cast off 8 (11, 12, 15, 18) sts at beg of next row and 8 (10, 13, 15, 17) sts at beg of next 2 alt rows.
